Co-Presidents

Luca Adams

My name is Luca Adams and I am the Co-President of Scottie Ventures. I joined Scottie Ventures as a freshman and have been able to serve on the board since then. I was previously on the committee for education and have also served as VP of Education. In these roles, I was able to build the curriculum for incoming analysts to teach VC essentials necessary for succeeding in industry. Outside of Scottie Ventures, I most recently interned at BlackRock with the Data Operations team working on automation, financial analytics, and the overall Green Package production process. I have also held positions at ShotTracker/DDSports Inc, Mention Me, and 99Tartans in which I have been able to produce financial analysis and competitive strategy presentations presented to company leadership, help with US sales pipeline generation, create data analytics packages, and more. Scottie Ventures has been an amazing place for me to grow professionally and has served as a launchpad into VC, a particular passion of mine. Even more than this though, Scottie Ventures has helped me form lifelong bonds with some amazing peers that I hope to foster for new members as well.

Krishna Singla

I'm Krishna, Co-President of Scottie Ventures. I'm a rising senior and will work in investment banking at Evercore post-graduation. Since I joined in freshman year, Scottie Ventures has excited me with its unique combination of entrepreneurial and financial exposure. This year, I'm looking forward to driving club growth through expanding beyond VC to Growth/PE internships, competing in and winning competitions on a national stage, and integrating Scottie Ventures with the overall CMU community.

Aditi Shimpi

I am Aditi, the Director of Growth for Scottie Ventures!

My penchant for this space stems from my high school and undergraduate involvement with tech entrepreneurship, fundraising, and venture capital in the software space. This year, I was a Private Equity Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs and was at EY's M&A Advisory Group the summer prior. On campus, I am also the Vice President External for the Tartan Student Fund, Advisor for the Research & Asset Management Academy, Founder & President of CMU Special Olympics, and in 180DC.

In my role, I lead new initiatives and advise our committees to grow SV's offerings and network through boosting our engagement, alumni and external guidance, revamped education and VCIC training, and streamlining processes for our internships and recruitment/finance operations. I am passionate about private investing as we dedicate ourselves to investing, advising, and growing ideas that will revolutionize industries and create a positive global impact. I am excited for aspiring entrepreneurs and investors to join Scottie Ventures and grow collaboratively!
